Hi there! My name is Lisa Morosky. I’m a virtual assistant in the blogging, Internet marketing, social media, and online business realms, and the author of The Bootstrap VA: The Go-Getter’s Guide to Becoming a Virtual Assistant, Getting and Keeping Clients, and More!.
Read on to learn more about my experience, hear from some of my happy coaching clients, get a feel for how coaching sessions work, and check out the session guidelines. When you’re ready, you can buy a session (or two!).
Experience
From early 2009 through the summer of 2011, I owned and operated my own virtual assistant business full-time – VAforBloggers.com (perhaps you know me from there). I worked with dozens of amazing clients, received mentions by and recommendations from some of the top bloggers in the industry, spoke at the BlogWorld conference in Las Vegas, and even brought on a couple other virtual assistants and service providers to help with my workload. I built something from the ground up that I was incredibly proud of, and provided for my husband and I during a time when I needed to be the main provider.
But in the summer of 2011, my perspective changed. Though VAforBloggers.com continued to thrive, I made the decision to cut back, reposition my services and my client base, and spend more time with my family, and on personal projects, my hobbies, and my spiritual growth. I moved my services to my new, centralized home here at The Home Life {and Me}, lowered my rates (because I now had lower overhead costs, and I wanted to pass those savings on to my clients), and changed my title to “blog helper”.
I’ve built a virtual assistant business, grown a virtual assistant business, downsized a virtual assistant business, and repositioned a virtual assistant business – all on my own terms. I’ve worked with dozens of clients, I’ve written the book on how to successfully get started as a virtual assistant, and I regularly spend time training and coaching new virtual assistants. I’ve struggled, worked hard, and made more mistakes than I can count. I’ve been there, done that, and bought the t-shirt on my way to virtual assistant and online business success.
So now I’m turning my focus to you. I want to help you create a thriving virtual assistant business that you can be proud of. If you are motivated and dedicated, I can’t wait to help educate, encourage, and empower you.

I know that these coaching sessions aren’t cheap and you want to make sure they’re going to be beneficial for you. So to combat any worries you may have, here’s just a small sampling of what past coaching clients have said after their sessions.

“I have so much more clarity, direction, and peace – for all of us! I was so tempted to cancel our session, as I was completely unsure of what to even ask. How Coaching Sessions Work
Before scheduling your session, I’m going to ask that you purchase and read all of my eBook, The Bootstrap VA. I want to honor your time and your money and it’s likely that a lot of your questions and concerns about being a virtual assistant are already answered in the eBook (and with your purchase of the eBook you get access to The Bootstrap VA Facebook Group, which is a kind of mastermind group for folks who have purchased the eBook).
Then, if you decide to buy a coaching session or two, we can use that time to focus on answering your specific questions, clarifying topics, and addressing concerns that are unique to you (instead of going over the basics).
Scheduling Your Session
Here are step-by-step directions on how to schedule your coaching session.
- Send me an email with the following information: your name, your email address, your Skype username, and three different dates and times that would work for you for our session. Please also make sure to specify what time zone you are in.
- At this point, the ball is in my court. I will send you an email confirming a date and time from the options you proposed. Once you’ve heard back from me, the meeting is officially scheduled! Make sure to note our meeting time on your calendar.
Before Your Session
Please fill out this survey before your session. It will help both you and I organize our thoughts before your session so we can use our time wisely. It’s OK if questions come up after you submit the survey, but the information you share with me in the survey is where we’ll start our conversation.
Don’t forget to add me as a contact on Skype. My username is thebootstrapva. Also, make sure to test all of your equipment (microphone and speakers) before our session.
Your Session
At the time of your scheduled session, I will be calling you via Skype and we will be doing an audio chat. We’ll go over as many questions as we can during that time.
After Your Session
If you’d like to do more virtual assistant coaching sessions, please head back to this page and purchase more time, schedule another session, and fill out the survey again.
Session Guidelines
Here are some guidelines I’ve put in place so that coaching sessions go smoothly for both you and I. Thanks in advance for your understanding and cooperation!
- You must schedule your session within 60 days of purchasing it. If you don’t schedule it within 60 days, you lose it.
- Your session will last 60 minutes. That’s 60 minutes from your scheduled start time. If you show up 10 minutes late, you now have 50 minutes to use. If you spend 15 minutes fiddling with your microphone or your speakers, you now have 45 minutes to use. You get the point.
- If you’re a no-show for your session (meaning you just don’t show up and you haven’t contacted me beforehand), you’ve lost it. I won’t be rescheduling sessions for no-shows.
- If you need to reschedule your session, you must contact me 24 hours in advance – otherwise you lose your session and I won’t be rescheduling it. You can contact me via email if you need to reschedule your session.
- You must submit the survey before your session. The earlier you submit the survey, the better – but just make sure you’ve filled it out at some point before your session.
